Hey guys!  We had a great first week of poem submissions   Great job and congratulations to everyone who participated!  The theme for the week was "My Favorite Food".   After much though on behaf of the judges the winner has been chosen.  The winner for our 1st poetry contest on google+ is........

The food I enjoy most is one 
That tantalizes my nose
Its fresh-baked scent creeps through my home,
Warming me down to my toes.

I love it best when it is warm,
Spread with butter and honey
It makes me forget my troubles
Whether they be stress, or time, or money.

Fresh-baked homemade bread
Just taken from the oven
Is delicious because it reminds me
That my home is a secure haven.
